About Wavy Minds

Wavy Minds was set-up by me, Hannah King. I am an Oxford-based artist, printmaker, and secondary school art teacher at a local comprehensive. I hold a First-Class Fine Art degree from Camberwell College of Arts (UAL). I am passionate about sharing the joy of art both in the classroom and through my own creative brand, Wavy Minds.

Wavy Minds stems from the natural metaphor of water and the mind. It references the rising and falling tides, and how our minds naturally experience shifting waves of creativity and emotion. Wavy Minds is about welcoming the waves, embracing the flow, and seeking calm in stillness.

Inspired by nature and the calming presence of water, my practice includes:

Hand carved relief prints: original linocuts, wood engravings, and woodcuts.

Handcrafted jewellery: pieces sculpted from silver, copper, enamel, and clay.

I am a member of Oxford Printmakers Co-operative and the Jewellery and Silver Society of Oxford.
